Yggdrasil Gaming Appoints Alex Heywood as Managing Director for Its Polish Operations

On October 18, 2023, Yggdrasil, a leader in providing captivating casino games, announced the appointment of Alex Haywood as the new Managing Director of its Polish subsidiary. The company said he brings on board a prestigious career spanning more than 20 years, providing a wealth of knowledge to lead the entity's technology advancement team.

This appointment comes when the game developer has moved to reduce roles within the company due to the strategic reorganization aimed at corporate progress. The company said Mark McGinley would move from his current position as Chief Gaming Officer to Chief Product Officer. McGinley will oversee the company's creative game portfolio and Masters Studio Program, which includes hundreds of third-party game studios.

In June this year, Yggdrasil appointed Mark McGinley as the Chief Gaming Officer. Before joining, McGinley enjoyed successful spells at FunFair Games, Casumo, and Entain, a leading operator of popular casino sites.
