The law in Pakistan
The federal act now applies in Islamabad, and the provinces enforce their own prevention of gambling laws. The only exception in the federal act is for licensed tourist complexes open to foreigners. The PTA blocks gambling content under section 37 of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016.
