The nation of Mozambique lies to the east of the African continent and has a long coastline with white sandy beaches facing the Indian Ocean. One of the most popular beaches visited by tourists is called Tofo. It also shares borders with Tanzania, South Africa, Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Eswatini. It has a number of natural resources which are exploited for economic means.
Tourists visit the country for its tropical weather and forested areas containing many species of animals not present outside Africa. Portuguese is the official language but is not frequently used by most people in the country.
